Children and teens over age 12 are welcome to volunteer with us. We often have family, school, and youth group volunteers. We require adult chaperones for children under age 16. For larger groups of children/teens, we require one adult chaperone for every five children. Our teen volunteers are eligible to receive Service Hours required for graduation in Talbot County.
We offer various volunteer opportunities, but the average session lasts about 3 hours. Any help is wonderful, whether it is once a week or once a month.
Some of our volunteer opportunities are available to people with special needs or limited mobility. Please contact us to discuss your specific situation.
Mandatory service hours are tracked differently than our regular projects. An application and interview must be completed before we can award court-related community service hours. Please email us at [email protected] or call 410-770-4505 to request information about our community service program.
